***Local woman gets taken on the mustache ride from hell***

Muncie, Indiana – A woman was held hostage in her own house, by her own husband, at mustache-point.  He forced her to ride his mustache for 7 hours.  The nightmare began mid morning, when Betty Watkins, loving wife of Hank Watkins, agreed to “fool around” before leaving for work.

According to reports, Hank was aggressive.  At first this did not shock Betty because she knew her husband had a wild side.  But she never could have seen the horror about to consume her afternoon.  While on their bed Hank pulled Betty towards him so that she was in a sense, sitting on his face, Hank “locked the doors” and gave Betty a mustache ride that would last until a UPS delivery man alerted authorities to screaming noises coming from inside the house.  Unfortunately for Betty, UPS did not come around until 4 p.m.

Local news crews were on the scene first, and our Indiana correspondent reported that Betty was alive, but clearly dazed.  She had a bewildered look of confusion on her face as the local police, accompanied by a stress counselor, escorted her into an ambulance.  Betty was taken to a local hospital and is being held overnight for observation.  The city of Muncie is holding a candlelight prayer service and hundreds are expected to show up for support.

Hank’s fate is uncertain.  He is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon and 2 counts of misdemeanor public mustachedness.  Currently being held in Delaware County Jail, just outside Muncie, he was not available for questioning.
