Looks can be deceiving, and I haven’t come across a website in a while where this statement is so true. Upon first logging on to BoyStation.com, it's simplistic and dated design, small text and over-exposed photo thumbnails really made me think I was in for an amateur suck-fest, and not the good kind. Boy, was I wrong. Despite some minor presentation issues here and there, Boy Station really delivers. Their all-original content is hot, hot, hot – and it's full of some of the cutest European young men I've ever seen. Don't let this site fool you; you're gonna want to make a visit to Boy Station.
The design of BoyStation.com is really what is lacking. It's overly dark, making it look almost gloomy and amateurish, and the text is very small. At least it was for my monitor, which is pretty big. Or maybe I'm just getting old. Regardless, a spruce-up could be needed to really get you into the reason for your visit – the hot guys. And let me tell you, there's a lot of them. Boy Station's content dates back to 1999, so that's over a full decade of hardcore videos and original photo shoots to whet your palate. Videos are divided by length – you've got "Short Action Videos" and "Gay Movies" to choose from. Not the best titles, but you get the point. The shorter videos are about 3-5 minutes long, while the longer ones are about 30 minutes. Movies are usually added daily, which is why there are more than 600 videos to choose from at this point.
It seems like the most recent videos are available as an MPEG download, but then they are eventually archived as Real Media only. Archived videos are available for both download and streaming, but again, only in Real Media format. The MPEGs are definitely your best bet at 720x575, but they only stick around for a month. I have to say, this baffles me. I don't even know anyone who uses Real Media anymore, let alone as their only video viewing tool. I find it very odd, not to mention very limiting, which is a shame since these videos are really well done. My other gripe is a lack of search features. You can browse by date or search by thumbnail or model, although their "search" is a list of clickable indexes, so it's not terribly customizable.
The men of Boy Station vary, but one thing is common is their good looks. You've got mostly European men, but there's some other nationalities thrown in there as well. The sex also varies from solo to duo and group scenes, regular hardcore to slight kink and fetish. With the amount of content, you're definitely going to find something that you enjoy. Boy Station also has around 1,000 photo galleries to browse through. They're really gorgeous and well-shot, although I do wish they wouldn't mess with them so much in PhotoShop. The colors are so over-exposed sometimes and it seems kind of unnecessary. But hell, did I mention the guys are hot? They so are. Each gallery is available as a zip download, or you can view them in a slideshow.
Overall, Boy Station is a really fantastic website hidden underneath a really mediocre website. If you can get past this and see it for what it is – a site full of hot Euro boys and hot porn – I think you'll really get your money's worth.
