OnTheHunt.com is a unique website with an interesting concept. It feeds off of the massive membership of adult hook-up site ManHunt.com and creates its own porn videos starring real members. Considering how many hot sexual encounters are probably happening through this site, it's not too farfetched to think we'd all want to see some of them in action – or too farfetched to assume that some of these ManHunt members have a bit of an exhibitionist streak in them. But that's not where the concept ends – each video is set up and directed by a pornstar, including Matthew Rush, Jeremy Hall and Collin O'Neal, to name a few. They travel all over to film these guys doing what they do, and we get an inside look at all the fun.
Now, I have to say, I question the legitimacy of sites like this just a little. Is it just me, or are all ManHunt members extremely good looking? It kind of seems like they are. As I'm watching, I also see some popular internet pornstars joining in, from Cody Cummings to Christian Wilde. Having said that…am I complaining? Hell to the no. I don't know about you, but if I'm getting high quality sex at a reasonable price, I'm not going to be too picky about them mixing in some pros every once in a while. I will say that their model application requires ManHunt membership and, upon reading scene descriptions, it seems like they are "casting" their amateur would-be pornstars with the pros. And, regardless, the porn is hot. Did I mention that? Because it is. Because of the breadth of membership, there is no one specific "type" of man at On The Hunt. You've got white, black, Latino and Asian men, muscle men and twinks, bears and jocks. There's also the occasional leather daddy or intergenerational couple as well, so you're definitely getting variety. In mostly duo or group scenes, there's very few solo sessions. The camera work could use a little more variety, but the videos are professional and well-lit. I like the amateur feel matched with the pro quality.
In total, On The Hunt currently has 207 episodes, with two new updates coming in every week, a regular update and a bonus update. Their videos range from 15 to 35 minutes in length and are available in a number of viewing options. You can stream using your Flash player or download with Windows Media or Quicktime, with a maximum resolution of 640x480. iPod formats are also available. The quality itself if quite nice, although not crystal clear. Episodes are full-length downloads or streams only, though, so this might be a problem for slower computers.
Each video comes with a decent quality photo set, which can have anywhere from 50 to 150 images. My biggest gripe with this site is probably their photo features, which are almost nonexistent. In many of the updates, you can only click to download a zip file without being able to see the images. Their search functionality kind of makes up for it, though. You can browse their archive by update date, by which pornstar filmed the episode, by model name or by keyword, which includes everything from twink and muscles to older/younger and uncut dick.
On The Hunt provides a unique concept, high quality footage and hot sex. At only $19.95 per month, it's difficult to complain about my minor issues with the site, although I feel a few tweaks in customization and quality would put this site at a higher scale. Despite that, On The Hunt is a great buy for fans of variety – amateurs plus pornstars, plus every type of man you could want all in one site. The hunt is over.
