The old myth about porn names being created from your first pet and street is so cliché. Everyone knows that porn names are either alliterative like Benjamin Bradley, Brad Benton or Reese Rideout or they come from some other famous person's name like Maxx Diesel, or Jason Pitt. Canadian porn performer Jeremy Roddick obviously took his name from American tennis hottie Andy Roddick and decided to create a website based on himself. While I give anyone who is willing to be an entrepreneur in the porn business some credit, unfortunately Jeremy’s site is not dissimilar to Andy Roddick’s tennis career. In other words, there are a few highlights, but when it comes to the grand slams it just seems to fall short. How’s that for a metaphor?

JeremyRoddick.com is very simple and has a little bit of a “my first porn site” feel to it. There are about 40 video scenes so far and most of them feature Jeremy Roddick, who is definitely not a dog by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m not sure he has the broad appeal to keep people coming back to watch more. The boys all speak French, which is kinda hot, but the action gets a little repetitive after you watch the same top (Jeremy) plug a few boys. The guys are mostly twinks, and there are a few scenes that don’t’ feature the “star” but even those somehow seem to fall a little short.

Each scene does come with a photo gallery that captures all of the action, and a brief synopsis o what you are about to watch. The design is very basic, which actually is a plus for a lower budget porn site because it makes everything easily accessible and simple to navigate. There is also a blog that details all of Jeremy’s escapades and a few behind the scene interviews and stuff, which is also a huge bonus. Plus, with membership you get access to two other fully loaded similar sites.

The scenes are about 20-25 minutes long and can be streamed or downloaded quickly, so the site definitely doesn’t succumb to most of the pitfalls of a lower budget website, and Jeremy has been nominated for a few Cybersocket awards, so I definitely ain’t mad at the boy.

In the end, JeremyRoddick.com may not be the most excellent site available, but it does at least meet most expectations, and perhaps with a little more variety and a little less Jeremy, it could move up to another level.
